eat: blueberry breakfast smoothie
Blueberries aren’t always given enough credit for their health benefits. Not only are they really good for your heart, they’re brilliant for your skin, are low in calories and loaded with antioxidants.
When you’re super busy and need something healthy and filling to start your day, breakfast smoothies are the way to go. Blended food is way easier for your body to digest which means it starts releasing energy more quickly.
recipe:
Small handful of oats
Large handful of blueberries
Tablespoon of Peanut Butter
A banana
250ml of Coconut Milk (or which ever milk you like best)
Drizzle of honey
A sprig of mint
Ground cinnamon
Plug in your favourite blender, add the oats, blueberries, peanut butter, coconut milk and honey. Fire it up until the ingredients looks smooth and become a strong purple colour.
Load up in to your favourite glass, place a sprig of mint on top alongside a couple of extra blueberry’s and sprinkle with cinnamon.
Day set.
