body: chromayoga leading the immersive yoga revolution with nina ryner
At the start of 2020, all eyes were on immersive fitness experiences. Taking the classes and sessions that we knew so well and leading them in to new dimensions. From futuristic spin studios, travel led retreats and rooftop personal training sessions, getting fit had become exciting. Breaking away from the mundane and creating a new level of creativity in a dynamic and forward thinking space. Then the pandemic hit. Our lives changed over night and so did our work outs. Our front rooms becoming not only our offices but our studios and the pals we shifted weights with we now shared zoom with instead of the gym floor.
Nina Ryner is at the forefront of a new fitness generation. A respected Art Director, her East London studio was home to ChromaYoga. One of the cities most celebrated and photographed yoga studios. A revolutionary and one of a kind experience that combined light therapy and colour psychology techniques. Creating multi-sensory yoga classes that moved through the colours of the spectrum whilst colliding with stimulating soundscapes and bespoke natural scents. With the studio temporarily closed, Nina has started to work on a new project. Moving her powerful vision in to the global online world.
Instead of chatting on the phone or over email, I decided to catch up with Nina online and find out everything there is to know about ChromaYoga moving in to 2021…
